185 Fully Funded PhD Scholarships at Politecnico Di Milano

Following the launch of its Master’s Scholarship program, the Politecnico di Milano, Italy, is calling for applications for 232 PhD positions, of which 185 positions will have a fully funded scholarship. The PhD program will last three years, as well as the scholarship. Further positions and scholarships may become available before the evaluation phase and up until its completion

The call is open to Italian and foreign students. Stateless students are considered as foreign students. Admission to the programs will be based on the evaluation of the applicants’ academic curricula and academic qualificationsthe applicants’ motivation letters and their report on the development of a possible PhD research project.

Admission Criteria

The call is open to Italian and foreign students with a Master’s degree. Stateless students are considered as foreign students.

Candidates who are not in possession of a master’s degree at the closing date of this call may also apply.

Admission to the programs will be based on curriculum evaluation, academic qualifications, letters of motivation, and a report on the development of a potential doctoral research project.

Candidates must submit all necessary documentation to enable the Selection Committee to establish the eligibility of foreign qualifications.

A certified knowledge of English is required of all applicants. They are required to submit proof of English language proficiency by October 31, 2024Citizens of Countries in which English is an official language are not required to certify their knowledge of English. Similarly, applicants who have been awarded or will be awarded academic qualifications by an institute in which the courses were taught entirely in English for most of the course, are not required to certify their knowledge of English. In this latter case, candidates are required to submit an official language certification from the corresponding academic institute.
