MIAI@Grenoble Alpes is launching a scholarship program related to Artificial Intelligence to attract exceptional candidates in the second year of a Master ‘s degree from the University of Grenoble Alpes. Successful candidates must enroll in one of the Masters 2 listed below at the University of Grenoble Alpes.
MIAI@Grenoble Alpes will award 10 scholarships for each academic year. This €8,000 scholarship is offered to cover the academic year from September 2024 to June 2024, which includes four months of coursework and six months of research internship. It is intended to support students selected for both their master’s and their doctorate.
The financed students will have to apply, at the end of their Master, to a doctoral program within one of the research laboratories of Grenoble.

Eligibility for the MIAI@Grenoble Alpes scholarship
Candidates must have successfully completed the first year of a Masters course or an equivalent qualification recognized by UGA. Applicants must also meet the eligibility criteria specific to the chosen study program.

A scholarship of €8,000 is offered to cover the academic year from September 2024 to June 2024, which includes four months of coursework and six months of research internship.
How to apply?
Applications must be sent in a single PDF file to: olivia.mancini@univ-grenoble-alpes.fr and manel.boumegoura@univ-grenoble-alpes.fr before April 29, 2024 (12:00) for the first session of selection or May 20, 2024 for the second selection.
Before applying for the MIAI scholarship, it is necessary to apply for a master 2 or an engineering course at the University of Grenoble Alpes (see section « List of eligible courses »).
The application file includes:
- A letter of commitment indicating the Master 2 program selected at the University of Grenoble Alpes and specifying that the student undertakes to work on a research subject related to MIAI’s research themes during his Master’s year. Students will be asked to write a report (around 30 pages) at the end of the Master’s year on the subject they have finally chosen, the constraint being that this subject be linked to Artificial Intelligence.
- A CV.
- The last two academic years translated into French or English if applicable.
- Master’s application number (number received when applying for a master’s).
The scholarship depends on your acceptance into the Master’s program. If you are not accepted into the Master’s program of your choice, the scholarship becomes inadmissible.
