To increase incoming mobility and the attractiveness of foreign students, the University of Milan , Italy is offering its future international students 155 scholarships for the academic year 2024-2024.
The University of Milan Master’s Excellence Scholarships will be awarded to the top 155 applicants among all those who have applied for admissions to a Master’s program before May 30, 2024. A number of scholarships are reserved candidates in medicine and surgery programs.

University of Milan Scholarship Benefits
- For the 2024/2024 academic year, 155 scholarships will be offered to the best international students admitted to the master’s program, including:
- 55 renewable scholarships worth €6,000 each, plus an exemption from registration fees,
- 100 renewable scholarships of total exemption from registration fees.
- The scholarship will be paid in two installments corresponding to half of its value: the first installment will be made once registration has been made. The second payment will be made once the beneficiary has obtained 30% of the credits required for the first year.
Eligibility for University of Milan
Scholarships Are considered, automatically, for the University of Milan Excellence Scholarships, international students, who have obtained an undergraduate degree (bachelor or equivalent) abroad who have submitted or will submit an application for admission to a master’s programme.

Application Procedure
You do not need to submit a separate application to the scholarship. Candidates submitting a complete application for admission to a master’s program will be considered automatically.
To apply for a master’s program, and therefore be considered for the University of Milan scholarships, follow these steps:
Step 1: Register on the University of Milan portal by accessing the page: https://registrazione.unimi.it/reg_utenti_esterni/registrazione/form.html . At the end of the registration, you will receive an e-mail for the activation of your account at the address provided during the registration procedure. Credentials must be activated within 24 hours, otherwise registration must be repeated.
Step 2: Log in at: https://studente.unimi.it/ammissioni/a/magistraliLibero/checkLogin.asp .
Step 3: choose the course you are interested in and complete the online form with your personal data.
At the end of the online registration, you will receive a receipt which is also sent to the email address used for the request.
